“A great addition to the Kankakee County legal community.”

Patrick O’Brien received his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Patrick began his legal career at the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office. During his time as a prosecutor, Patrick handled hundreds of cases ranging from traffic offenses to DUIs to felony charges. Patrick then entered private practice and worked briefly as a Kankakee County Public Defender. His diverse litigation background and successful advocacy eventually led him to take on a wider array of cases in private practice. He now handles many different types of family law cases, evictions, and personal injury suits in additional to criminal defense work. Patrick has also broadened the geography of his practice and now handles cases in Will County, Cook County, Iroquois County and Champaign County in addition to Kankakee County.
